Responsibilities
- Social Media Management:
- Manage all CCSI’s social media platforms ensuring regular and timely content updates and scheduling posts strategically.
- Assist in developing and sharing content across CCSI’s platform.
- Ensure all materials, including pictures and videos, maintain high standard of simplicity, consistency, accuracy and relevance.
- Support strategies to enhance CCSI’s platform visibility and exposure using strategies, increasing social media followers and reaching key audiences.
- Work collaboratively with the programs unit and state teams to retrieve program information for official use.
- Digital Media and Promotion and Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze current digital trends, social media best practices and emerging technologies to enhance digital engagement
- Analyze the performance and impact of digital media by monitoring content performance, engagement metrics and analytics to guide planning.
- Contribute to design, and promotions, and campaigns for CCSI.
- Influencer Management, Liaison and Collaboration:
- Manage and tailor content from CCSI’s engaged social media influencer for the project’s digital media platforms
- Support the implementation of the performance management system, including setting performance goals, conducting appraisals, and providing feedback.
- Assist in identifying training and development needs based on performance reviews and organizational goals.
- Monitor probationary periods and ensure timely performance reviews and decisions.
Qualification
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, journalism, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years’ work experience in the digital space.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Previous media support/experience and being technology savvy is a mandatory requirement
- Experience in supporting media for development work
- Ability to work effectively in fast paced program environment, and familiarity will local culture across regions in Nigeria
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with a wide range of people, good interpersonal skills including public officials, the media, and consultants to deliver program objectives
- Willingness to be flexible and prepared to contribute to the program and other duties as required.
- Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the organizations area of interest.
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
- Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
- Willingness to travel as might be required
- Experience in gathering content in form of photographs, videos and stories
- Experience in curating this gathered content to developed finished content that can be uploaded to social media and shared with partners.
- Knowledge of photography and video editing using professional editing suites will be an added advantage
